Digital Banking Terms and Conditions

To access digital banking services, you must hold a valid account with DBK and register for the services via our official channels. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.

3. Security and Privacy

  • Customers are required to keep their login credentials, passwords, and PINs confidential.
  • The Bank will not request your passwords or PINs via email, SMS, or phone calls. Report any suspicious communication immediately.
  • Transactions carried out through your account are considered authorized by you. Ensure you log out after every session.

4. Usage and Transactions

  • Digital banking services are provided for lawful and authorized purposes only.
  • Transactions performed through digital banking platforms are considered final upon execution, and you are responsible for verifying details before confirming.
  • The Bank reserves the right to suspend or terminate services if misuse or suspicious activity is detected.

5. Service Availability

While the Bank aims to provide uninterrupted digital banking services, system maintenance, upgrades, or unforeseen events may result in temporary disruptions. The Bank will endeavor to notify customers of planned downtimes.

6. Fees and Charges

Applicable fees and charges for digital banking services will be communicated to you during registration or as updated by the Bank from time to time. By using these services, you agree to these charges.

7. Limitation of Liability

The Bank shall not be liable for losses resulting from unauthorized access, system errors, or user negligence. You are advised to take appropriate precautions when using public devices or networks.

8. Termination of Services

The Bank reserves the right to terminate your access to digital banking services for reasons including but not limited to account closure, fraudulent activities, or breach of these terms.

9. Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Kenya. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved through the appropriate legal channels in Kenya.
